Neuropsychology

Neuropsychology is a division of medicine that focuses on the relationship between the brain, behaviour and the mind. It studies the association of the different parts of the brain with different mental functions. The brain may undergo changes with age, disease and injury, which can affect functioning and behaviour in different ways. Neuropsychology studies the effect of these changes and is used in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of those with neurological conditions such as dementia, brain injuries, and memory and learning disorders.
